A trusted network of partners and collaborators supporting authorities in chemical transport emergencies across europe

The ICE network is a trusted network of partners and collaborators — including industry experts, emergency responders, and regulatory authorities — working together to support chemical transport emergency management across Europe.

The Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) is the heart of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO), overseeing emergency coordination and response, and providing financial support.

The European Maritime Safety Agency provides information and expert advice on chemicals involved in maritime emergencies. In close cooperation with the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) and the Centre of Documentation, Research and Experimentation on Accidental Water Pollution (Cedre), EMSA created the MAR-ICE Network in 2008.
